The Architecture tour is the best way to check out Chicago's amazing skyline and is one of our favorite activities! You'll learn a ton about the history of the city while enjoying some refreshments and taking in picturesque views.
In the heart of Lincoln Park lies a free zoo that's fun for all ages. This place is very special for Nate as he completed a couple projects for the zoo through his work... but if that's not enough, there are three lion cubs born recently that are adorable!
The lakefront trail is a gorgeous stretch of park through downtown all the way north and south across Chicago's many neighborhoods. Perfect for walking, biking, or scootering (for the latter two, check out Lyft/Limes around the area), it offers amazing views. Nate proposed to Jocie on the lakefront overlooking the skyline... so I guess that's a bonus too.
Once an old train line, the 606 is another fabulous place to walk, bike, or scoot through the city. It travels through Nate's old neighborhood, and he would walk and talk here often with Jocie (mostly about adopting a dog... how about that) during their time together during the pandemic.
Chicago has world-class museums of all shapes and sizes. Some notables include the Field Museum (History is Jocie's favorite), the Shedd Aquarium (Otters are Nate's favorite), the Adler Planetarium, the Museum of Science and History, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
One of the biggest tourist attractions in our city, Navy Pier boasts plenty of activities, shops, restaurants, and more.
A wonderful place to eat in West Loop (near our suggested hotels), Time Out Market features around 20 diverse bars and restaurants from some of the best chefs in the city, all in a food court-style environment. Great for groups, or folks who want a taste of everything!
