We're Getting Married!

Jocelyn and William met at work in 2020, working in nearby departments. William fell for Jocelyn and wanted to take her out and get to know her. They finally went on their first date in 2021 at Firebirds and fell in love. At the time, Jocelyn was in Richmond studying undergrad, but despite the distance, they made it work. Every opportunity they had to see each other, they did, and even as far as meeting halfway in Fredericksburg for dinner. In the four years that they have been together, they have gone on incredible and fun dates, shared laughter, and unforgettable moments. Their greatest and hardest moment yet together was losing their daughter Catalina in January. Although their time together was short, they loved her so much and miss her dearly. As they move forward in the next chapter in their life, they are excited to get married. They got engaged at the botanical garden in August and celebrated at Hell's Kitchen. Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is a favorite date spot for a romantic stroll during the spring and even in the winter for Christmas lights. Since they love this place so much, it only made sense to share their big day here with everyone!
