There is a rental fee for yurts and for tent & RV Spots. Yurts are $40 per person per night ($80 for the weekend) Tent and RV stays are $20 per person per night ($40 for the weekend). Stallion Oaks Ranch has non-potable water onsite, meaning it is okay for washing and showering in. It is not recommended for drinking. We will have a water station for drinking water, but encourage you to bring extra. There are 6 showers & bathrooms onsite.
Typically, it is warm during the day around 70-80 degrees and chilly at night around 40-50 degrees. You may need to bring warmer clothes or a jacket for the evening. This can vary so double check (Descanso, CA) before packing. We will send out an email with updated weather prior to event.
Yes, there will be a designated fire ring.
Its perfectly manageable by foot. If you're feeling inspired, Bikes, e-Bikes and one wheels are allowed on the property. Please leave the mini-bikes at home, boys. We will have transportation down to the lake for the wedding ceremony for those who need it. Transport isn't necessary around yurts and barn. Its only a 10 min walk down to the lake.
No! All vehicles must be self-contained.
It's unlikely, but if necessary, signal is accessible with a short drive. Our aim is to encourage everyone to be fully present and interact with each other. Consider two-way radios for on-site communication if required.
There is a designated smoking section available. Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited outside of the designated area within the venue.
Cars will be parked across the street, while RVs, trailers, and Van Life will have a designated area near the barn. For those needing access to their cars, we will do our best to accommodate easy access.
Unfortunately, no. The lake is reserved solely for visual enjoyment. However, there is a pool available for your enjoyment.
Yes, there is a sound ordinance in effect. Amplified sound will cease at 10pm. However, you're welcome to stay up later, especially on the wedding night. We encourage guests to be rested for the wedding day on Saturday. Please note that there is a caretaker living onsite, and local law enforcement will enforce the sound ordinance if necessary should noise continue after 10pm.
While it's not required, bringing a stylish, reusable cup can be a great way to minimize waste and add a personal touch to your experience. Plus, opting for a cup you won't easily misplace, ensures you can enjoy refreshments throughout the celebration. Additionally, consider bringing a refillable water bottle for the water station as another eco-friendly option.
We offer dinner on Friday and Saturday evening, along with a light breakfast on Sunday morning. Apart from these meals, you will need to arrange your own food. There is a fully equipped kitchen and two grills available onsite. Additionally, there is a small market nearby, which includes a Mexican restaurant just a short drive away.
