We met in marching band freshman year of high school, (I “secretly” hated him.) Coincidentally, we were in the same homeroom sophomore year and developed a beautiful friendship. Junior year, we finally started dating and have enjoyed the ride ever since!

It was Raykel's birthday so OF COURSE I had a million gifts to give him and we were going to dinner with his parents (so I thought). We both decided to go to the waterfront to sit, relax and take some pics before dinner (so I thought again), when we're sitting on the bench and this man gets down on one knee! I was so surprised and overwhelmed in the best way. He pointed out my sister that was literally two feet in front of me taking pictures and then told me to turn around to see my best friends and family walking towards me. I will never forget that feeling! All of these people putting in so much time and effort for ME, it was amazing! Last stop, was dinner and popping champagne with all these beautiful people I have in my life. It was truly a day I will never forget.
