Travel Note

Camp Bauer, Korbel, CA

From Blue Lake Casino & Hotel, turn right from the round-a-bout onto Blue Lake Boulevard for almost 2 miles. The road will naturally take you to Korbel and turn into Maple Creek Road. Continuing on Maple Creek Road for 1 1/4 mile, keeping left for an additional mile. Off to the right you will see an open gate and dirt road. Head down this road until you see our designated parking area. Sound confusing? Don’t worry! We will have signs up on trees and telephones to help guide the way!

Hotel

Blue Lake Casino & Hotel

This hotel and casino is closest to the venue(10 minutes) and in one of the smaller towns of Humboldt County. We reserved a block of rooms-when calling for a reservation ask for the Foreman Wedding. Rooms should be $140/night. The discounted rate expires on October 1st so be sure to book by then! Rooms will be available past this date, but the reservation price will increase probably over $200 a night.

Flight

Arcata-Eureka Airport

This is our local airport! It is quite small so plane tickets can be pretty pricey. There is a cheap flight right now to Humboldt from the Burbank-Hollywood Airport if you could manage to get a transfer from there. You could also choose to fly into Sacramento, San Francisco, or Oakland and drive up in a rental car as well. Keep in mind it would be an additional 5+ hours of driving.
