We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the official ceremony starts at 3:30 p.m. so you can settle before the proceedings begin.
Yes, we’ve reserved blocks of rooms at The Hampton Inn. Mention “Wedding of Mayer and Hesen" to get the special rate, or book through the link in the travel section on our wedding website.
Venue: Dulany's Overlook- 7701 Dance Hall Rd, Frederick, MD 21701 If you’re staying at the Hampton Inn or plan to use the provided shuttle service (leaving your car at the hotel), transportation will depart for Dulany’s Overlook at approximately 2:45 PM. Feel free to leave your car at the hotel if you plan to return there for the after-party. Following the celebration, shuttles will return guests to the hotel. One shuttle will depart around 8:30 PM for anyone wishing to head back early, and another will depart at 9:30 PM once the reception concludes.
Yes, the after-party will be held at the Hampton Inn's restaurant, The Beacon, located outside the hotel around the back. The restaurant is reserved until 2:00 a.m. There will be light appetizers provided by us and a bartender available to purchase any drinks on your own if desired!
Yes! We will have plenty available parking space at the entrance to Dulany's Overlook.
Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
The dress code is semi-formal. Please dress according to the weather, as it may be a little chilly! You have the option of wearing your most formal attire, an evening gown or tuxedo, but may also choose to wear a formal suit or long dress instead. Please, no white or loud colors.
The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, while the reception will be held mainly indoors. During the reception, guests will have the option to be indoors or outdoors so please dress accordingly to the weather! Just a heads up, the ceremony will be held in grass so be prepared to walk in the grass.
