Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm. Please plan to arrive between 1:30-1:45pm to allow time for parking and finding your seat in time for the ceremony!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We look forward to celebrating with you! Please RSVP no later than April 17, 2026. We will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Question

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! That said, we kindly ask if your little ones become fussy- especially during special moments like our ceremony or first dances- you step out with them to keep the atmosphere enjoyable for everyone. If you’re able to make childcare arrangements, we’d love for you to take this opportunity to enjoy a night out!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block that is convenient to both the ceremony and reception space. A short 5-7 minute drive is the “Best Western La Posada Motel” in Fillmore,CA. **You can call and ask for “Jocelyn & Francisco wedding” to reserve at a discounted rate.** Please refer to the “travel” tab for hotel contact and address. You are also welcome to explore other options that will require a 20+ minute drive!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will be having our ceremony in a Catholic Church so we have decided to hold an unplugged ceremony. This means that we please ask you abstain from taking photos during our ceremony. We’ve hired a great photographer and videographer to capture the moments and will share them all with you!

Question

Should I stay for photos after the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party and immediate family (parents, grandparents, siblings, and church padrinos) are needed for photos after the ceremony. Other guests are welcome to head over to the reception early and get ready to celebrate! We will gladly take all the pictures during the celebration.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be taking place in Fillmore,CA. The ceremony will be indoors and reception will be outdoors. They are in close proximity, requiring only a brief 10 minute drive.
