When should I RSVP by?

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. No jeans please!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar for cocktail hour and the majority of the reception (switching to cash bar 30 minutes before the end of the reception). The welcome drinks event on Friday night (11/17) will be a cash bar. Please plan accordingly!

Are children welcome?

Answer

We want everyone at our wedding to have a great time, so only kids in our immediate family have been officially invited. We hope that you have plenty of time to make accommodations so you can join us for a night of fun!

I have a food allergy, will there be something for me to eat?

Answer

There will be both gluten free and vegetarian options at the wedding. We can accommodate special requests if needed. You will be able to make a note on the RSVP page.

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be in a dark green/emerald color.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttles to and from the Residence Inn in Portsmouth (please find the address on the travel page of the website). Even if you are not staying at that hotel, you are welcome to take the shuttle - just make sure you are there on time!

What time is pickup for transportation?

Answer

There will be two buses arriving at the Residence Inn at 3:00pm with an estimated 3:30pm arrival at the venue. The ceremony begins at 4:00pm. The buses will be leaving the venue at 10:30pm and heading back to Portsmouth with an estimated 11:00pm arrival time.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the Red Barn has a large private parking lot. Guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight if needed!
