Cody and Jocelyn first met through a mutual friend. Initially, Jocelyn wasn't interested in dating and made it very clear to Cody. Months later, fate intervened when Cody unexpectedly joined Jocelyn and her friends on a hike. As luck would have it, Cody was the last to be picked up, landing him right next to Jocelyn with a plate of nachos he generously shared. During the hike, the group ventured off course, and in an attempt to find the main trail, Jocelyn proposed taking a shortcut though a steep hill. While the rest hesitated, Cody, was the only one who joined her. For the next hour, they found themselves navigating their way back to the group who had lost sight of the main trail.
