What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie formal — floor-length gowns and formal cocktail attire. We're embracing a summer pastels palette. Think: purples, yellows, greens and blues. Please avoid: white, pink, tan, or brown. The ceremony and reception are outdoors (covered) on garden grounds, so choose your shoes accordingly.

Where should I stay, and what should I know about traveling in?

Answer

We have a discounted hotel block at the Holiday Inn Express Douglasville, 25 minutes from the venue (see our Travel page to book). The closest airport is Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL). July 17 is a Friday and Atlanta traffic is no joke, so please arrive Thursday evening or by Friday morning to avoid missing the ceremony.

Is there parking and a shuttle?

Answer

Yes. There is free on-site parking with golf cart shuttles from the lot to the front entrance. A hotel shuttle is still being explored; for now, please plan to drive or coordinate rideshares with other guests.

Are kids welcome? Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

The children in our wedding party will be part of the ceremony and dinner, but the reception transitions to an adults-only celebration around 8:00 PM. Please plan childcare accordingly. We're also not accommodating plus-ones; if your invitation lists only your name, please come solo.

What's the food and bar situation?

Answer

Passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour at 3:30 PM, a full dinner at 4:30 PM, and an open bar all night. Please share any dietary needs or allergies when you RSVP.

Will I be indoors or out, and what should I expect from the weather?

Answer

The ceremony is covered outdoor, and the reception is primarily covered outdoor with indoor space available. Mid-July in Georgia is hot and humid, so wear light, breathable fabrics, hydrate before you arrive, and bring comfortable shoes for garden paths.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're having an unplugged ceremony, so please put phones away and be fully present with us. Our professional team will capture every moment. Photos and videos are absolutely welcome at the reception. We're also crowdsourcing a wedding hashtag, so drop your suggestions through the site!

What about gifts?

Answer

Your presence is the only gift we expect. If you'd like to contribute toward our newlywed fund, Zelle is preferred [Christopher Wallace/678-858-2898], and we also accept Cash App: $thewallaces2026. A small registry is linked on this site for anyone who prefers a traditional gift.

How do I RSVP, and who do I contact with questions?

Answer

Please RSVP through this wedding website only by June 17, 2026 (no mail-in cards). For any other questions, please reach out to our Maids of Honor (Danielle & Kourtney), our Best Men (Jaye & Cam), or as a last resort, Pamela, mother of the bride. Contact info is on your invitation.
