We met online in 2013 on a website that doesn't exist anymore, but long enough for Casey to send Jocelyn a message of interest. They talked through messenger and over the phone. They had so much in common- they're both the youngest child in their family, love sports (even though she's a Cleveland Cavaliers fan and he's a Packers guy), love Marvel comic movies, and LOVES Michael Jackson! They both love going to church and through their jobs, loves helping others. They love their families. They decided to date quickly, but it didn't work. They tried a second time, and still didn't pan out. They went their separate ways. It hurt them deeply, and they both suffered heartbreaks along the way. But Casey couldn't take it anymore. Finally, in March, 2018, Jocelyn received a call from Casey that he still loved her. Jocelyn felt the same. They decided to become exclusive and began making the long distance traveling from Wisconsin and Ohio. It was difficult. From the timing, to constant second guessing themselves, to wondering if it was even worth it, their minds were made up. They knew their love was real and worth saving. Casey proposed in July 2019 in Kent, Ohio by the Ohio River Trail-the same place where they shared their first kiss. Jocelyn excitedly accepted. They will spend their lives in Wisconsin and live happily ever after.
