Question

How can I find out more information on the hotel?

Answer

The room block hotel is Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. Their website link and a short video are attached below. When we are able to use the group code we will attach the specific link for that as well. Look at the travel tab for more information Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8eLxg2h4To Hotel Website: https://www.pueblobonito.com/resorts/pacifica

Question

Do I have to stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica?

Answer

Yes, the hotel requires that all guests must stay at the resort to participate in any wedding events for our weekend. Please see the below and our travel tab for more information.

Question

How do we book a room/Where should we stay?

Answer

*Most information for this will be found on the travel tab. We will also send booking information and instructions directly to each person via email. This will provide the code and explain how to book the room and ensure you secure the discount* We are so happy you will be booking your room for our wedding weekend! We do kindly request that you book your room under our room block for the 3 night minimum if you are attending our wedding weekend. By all of our guests staying in the same location this is how the room block will be able to provide everyone with the lowest group rate. We understand this is a big ask and wanted to provide our friends and family with enough time to make it. We do want to celebrate with everyone for the few days you will be there. The room block will be at the resort where the reception will be held. The overall resort name is Pueblo Bonito. There are 4 properties. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is the resort where our wedding block will be. This is an adults only all inclusive resort. You will have access to the other 3 properties at anytime you wish. There is a resort shuttle that will take you to any sister property until 10pm- 7 days a week. Again, we do kindly request you book at this resort to ensure a great experience together. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Brandon or Jocelyn regarding any questions or concerns. Once our link for booking becomes active we will attach it to the travel page so stay tuned! To book a room under our block you will have to go through this link and use our specific group code. There will also be a link for a hotel + airfare package option. The airfare package is not necessary, but will be available to those who wish to book the option of airfare through the hotel as well.

Question

When should we arrive in Mexico?

Answer

Due to the hotel block requiring a 3 night minimum we do kindly ask that you arrive and depart in that timeframe. Our group block rate will be good for 5 days before the wedding and 5 days after, allowing flexibility for travel. Ideally you would arrive on Thursday April 24th, 2025 or earlier and depart Sunday April 27th, 2025. The days of arrival and departure are up to your discretion we just ask again that it be for 3 nights so the discount will be valid for you. This will ensure that you are part of the weekend and you can enjoy all the activities we have planned for you. Thursday night we will have a Welcome cocktail party on the beach with a bonfire. Friday will be the rehearsal and dinner. Saturday will be the wedding and reception. We are still currently working with our wedding coordinator to plan a couple more events for people to attend so they can make the most of their time. We look forward to seeing you in Mexico and thank you for being a part of our special day!

Question

How are the resorts laid out?

Answer

Pueblo Bonito does have 4 properties: Pacifica, Sunset, Blanco/Los Cabos, and Rose. The sunset property is 4 minutes from Pacifica. Both of these properties are West of downtown Cabo. Sunset is a lively property that has multiple pools and endless daily activities such as pool parties. The other sister properties Blanco and Rose are located on the East side of Cabo. Blanco and Rose are colorful Mediterranean style properties that offer a view of the famous Cabo arch. Attached below is an active map to familiarize yourself with each property. Question

What are the events for the weekend?

Answer

*Check the schedule tab for more specific information* We are still working on some planning but as of now here are the main events: Thursday: Welcome bonfire and cocktail party on the beach. We will have drinks, s'mores, and music to kickoff the festivities. Friday: For those in the wedding and immediate family the rehearsal will take place at the church followed by a dinner event. Saturday: Wedding Day!! 3-4: Ceremony (this will be at Sunset) 4-5: Break (we wanted to give guests time to travel back to Pacifica and freshen up before the cocktail hour) 5-6: Sunset cocktail hour (enjoy a drink and watch golden hour over the terrace) 6-10: Reception (dinner and dancing on the terrace)

Question

Can I bring children?

Answer

Due to our venue being an adults only venue we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We realize that this may impact our family and friend's plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare. We hope that you will still be able to join us for this special day, and we look forward to celebrating with you. Thank you for understanding and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding an intimate celebration. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed. As we prepare for the wedding, we kindly request that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend by using the RSVP section and responding that you cannot attend. We understand that unexpected events can happen, but by letting us know in advance, we can make necessary adjustments to our plans. On the other hand, if you are able to attend, please RSVP 1/17/2025 so that we can provide our vendors with an accurate headcount and ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience. Thank you for your understanding and prompt response. We cannot wait to see you on our big day!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. While we understand this is a tropical destination, we ask that you please dress in formal attire. We want everyone to feel comfortable and look their best. For ladies this is typically a classy midi tea length to floor length dress. For men this is a suit with tie and jacket. We ask that guests refrain from wearing denim or white/cream for the big day Note, the ceremony will take place in a Catholic church so please take this into consideration and dress appropriately. Shoulder coverings such as a light coverup or shawl are recommended for ladies. The welcome bonfire for all guests will be casual and laid back. We ask that you welcome us in white for this event if you can! The other weekend events, including the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are semi formal- please check your individual invite for more details on this event. April in Cabo can be breezy and cooler at night. We recommend checking the forecast the week before you go to ensure you are comfortable.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We wanted to let you know the ceremony will be held indoors, while the cocktail hour and reception will be held outside, weather dependent. The ceremony will be held in the Catholic Sunset Chapel at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort. This is a 4 minute shuttle ride from the property where the room block will be. The cocktail hour and reception will be held at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but please be aware that if conditions do not permit an outdoor reception, we will move them indoors to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.

Question

When should we arrive at the event?

Answer

We ask that all guests arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony time of 4:00 pm. This ensures that guests will have some time to walk into the church and find a pew. Please keep in mind there will be a mass that will take place during our ceremony and unfortunately you will not be able to access the church if you are late. We will have scheduled transportation to take you from Pacifica to the ceremony at Sunset and then back to Pacifica for the reception.

Question

Can I take photos or bring my cell phone?

Answer

We are thrilled to have you join us for our wedding day and wanted to let you know about a special request we have for our ceremony. To help us keep focus on the love and commitment we are making to each other within the church we kindly ask that you please silence your cell phone during our ceremony or leave it back at the hotel. We will have a professional photographer and videographer to capture the ceremony in accordance with church regulations. Please refrain from taking any photo/video in the church out of respect for the sacrament and mass.

Question

What do you recommend to do once we get there?

Answer

All of our recommendations are on that specific page of our website. We will continue to update our schedule for all optional and planned activities that we have in store for everyone. Thanks again we are so excited to enjoy a few days with everyone!

Question

Do we need our passports?

Answer

Yes! Don't forget that your passport cannot expire 6 months before departure.

Question

How do we get to the ceremony and back?

Answer

We have arranged for transportation for all guests before and after the ceremony. Please allow for travel time to the ceremony.

Question

Is Cabo safe?

Answer
