The Fairmont Château Whistler is an exceptional ski-in/ski-out 5-star hotel in Blackcomb Village. It backs right onto the slopes and is a few minutes walk to the gondola. We have a room block for our guests, where the most affordable option is $599 CAD or $440 USD per night, excluding taxes and fees. That rate is available for Friday and Saturday night, and can be extended up to 3 days earlier, depending on availability.

Ceremony & Reception

The ceremony and reception will take place at the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre in Blackcomb Village, which is a short walk from the Fairmont. The ceremony will be outside, so be prepared with coats and warmer shoes for about 45 minutes. During the ceremony we'll have heat lamps, blankets, and hot beverages to ensure that everyone stays warm. Upon entering for the cocktail hour, we'll have a coat rack for guests to store their coats and items.

Getting from Vancouver to Whistler

There’s only one road that goes from Vancouver to Whistler: Highway 99, also known as the Sea to Sky Highway. The views are pretty spectacular on this drive. If you choose to drive or rent a car from the airport, there are options for both free and paid parking in the Village. Alternatively, the SkyLynx bus can take you directly from the Vancouver airport to Whistler and is an easy option.
