Para Siempre

If you're wondering about the title, it's how we have been calling ourselves since we realized we were going to be a team forever (and that was long before getting engaged!). With Joaquin being from Questa, NM and Diana from Barranquilla, Colombia, what better name than that right? And if you didn't know these two things, then maybe we need to get you off the invite list LOL JK, we love you and we are grateful to celebrate with you! We're also sure you've heard at least once how we met but as a reminder, it's all about our inability to swim (queue the laugh, we know). We connected on a dating app with the "I can't swim either" sentence and after a first date over a Cuban dinner, followed by a jazz band; we both knew that was our last first date. We couldn't be more different, and we are convinced that is what makes us so special. Our days are filled with a mix of Spanish words spoken at unbelievably fast speed and discussions over how green chile is "not that spicy". You might now find Joaquin loving plain white rice and Diana serving it with grilled elk steak (which if you might now, she didn't even know it was an animal until her late 20's). We also have a million things in common, with the most important being a love for Jesus that keeps us grounded and gives us the foundation to tackle anything that comes our way.
