It all began at Lilia and Rick’s house where they were celebrating Lulu’s birthday. Joaquin saw Belen and was asking Jas and Lilia about her. Belen noticed Joaquin singing “Superame” and she thought, he’s really heartbroken. They danced, he stepped on her toes and then Belen left to take Lulu home after a long night of celebrating. Joaquin later that night asked Lilia and Jas for Belen’s number, but only achieved getting her instagram handle.

Thinking that she was going to host Easter at home with friends and family, Belen hosted over 100 people at the Garcia home. Always the life of the party, Joaquin hired a band when Belen asked, “Why are you hiring a band when it’s only Easter?” A couple of hours later the band played “Te encontre” while they were dancing when suddenly Joaquin got on one knee to propose. Belen was shocked and couldn’t find words to respond for what seemed like an eternity leaving Joaquin on the rough cement awaiting her response. Finally she said YES!
