We met on Match.com After a nice dinner out with the girls, Joanne's friends insisted she get herself on a dating site and at that time the only decent one was Match. Joanne was very apprehensive at first because she wanted to meet someone the old fashion way. She eventually gave in and as her friends laughed and joked around, they helped her create a profile...and then pushed her to click "Submit". Joanne checked the site occasionally. Eight months later, while hanging out with a few of the same friends, Joanne was forced to open up her profile so they can see what was happening. With reluctance, she logged on and they started checking out the activity. They saw that some guy "Winked" at her and insisted she "Wink" back. They checked out his profile and was drawn to one part of it where he wrote "...if you're familiar with the phrase 'Absolutely Positively', you now know where I work". One friend called her husband - who knows everything about everything - and he figured it out in two seconds - FEDEX. They loved it and insisted Joanne respond, telling her what to write. That was the beginning until we planned to actually meet. We met on the board walk in Staten Island. We were so comfortable with each other that we walked for miles as Joanne's "ninjas" (friends) followed behind - because she met a person online for God's sake.
