What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs were due by April 1, 2024 by mailing in the RSVP card or contacting Mark or Joanne directly via text/phone call/email.

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

Bellingham International Airport is the closest airport and is located in Bellingham, Washington. There are flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Bellingham International Airport (BLI) via Alaska Airlines and Allegiant Airlines.

Is there parking available near your wedding and reception venues?

Answer

Yes, Church of the Assumption has a designated parking lot. We advise arriving at the church early (between 12:00PM - 12:30PM) because we will be sharing the parking lot with Assumption School staff and Hope House volunteers. Street parking is also available near the church but tends to get crowded because it is located near Bellingham High School which will be in session. The Bellingham Yacht Club also has a designated parking lot and there is some parking in the surrounding areas which are free.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire is welcome, such as a cocktail-length dress, long dress or dressy separates for women and slacks or suit and tie for men.

Are young children included in the invitation?

We love your little ones but this will be an adults-only celebration.

What is the weather like in Bellingham?

Answer

We pray for clear blue skies and sunshine the day of! Note that Bellingham in September tends to be warmer in the day and colder at night (average 69° / 47°). There is a chance it could rain so we recommend bringing a light coat, just in case.

Both the wedding ceremony and the reception will be held indoors.
