Please do not bring a +1 unless prior arrangement has been made with the couple.

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the adventure this time.

Can I book accommodation for one night only?

Answer

Yes you can, but unfortunately the accommodation is included as a package and remains R1000 per person and R2000 per couple.

What will the weather be like?

We are hoping for a post-winter sunny day. Please pack your swimsuits for the pool during the day and a jacket for the evening at the bonfire.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes please! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However please respect the photographers we have hired. Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Do we have electricity?

Answer

We are staying in a Lodge and there is electricity even if Eskom lets us down!

Will there be a cash bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a CASH Bar open during the days and the evenings. The signal is not great and they will NOT be accepting card payments. NO OWN ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED. Please respect the rules of the lodge. Thank You!

Am I allowed to smoke anywhere?

Answer

Unfortunately not. Please stick to the rules and only smoke at the fire pits. This includes CIGARETTES and VAPING.

What is all included in my room?

Answer

There are rooms with 2 beds, 4 beds and 8 beds (we will still allocate everyone to their room). Each room has the following: cotton linen, towels, extra blankets, cupboards, bedside tables with lamps, power point, bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin, a bar fridge, kettle, and cups.

Will I be driving on a dirt road?

Answer

Yes, the last 10km to the lodge is on a dirt road. Please be careful when driving on the dirt road, not always the best.
