We both frequented Don Titos in Arlington and on this particular blazing August day we caught each others gaze as Joanna was on her way to the rooftop and Alfred was rejoining his friends at the bar. Joanna couldn't quite place where she knew Alfred from but Alfred cleared that up when he Facebook messaged her the very next day confirming their #missedconnection. Joanna immediately connected the dots and remembered Alfred from his yellow polo and they went on their first date that same day. The rest is history <3

At long last we went on vacation to celebrate the close of Joanna's most challenging year of dental school in June 2019. Alfred painstakingly planned an entire week at an all-inclusive romantic resort on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. A plane ride and a bumpy 2 hour car ride later we arrived at the resort with breathtaking ocean views. After a quick outfit change Alfred had arranged for a candlelit dinner on a private beach. His speech was filled with loving, heartfelt words all of which Joanna cannot remember because she screamed "Yes!" and embraced her fiancee in open arms with a photographer capturing the precious moment. The trip was filled with champagne at every turn, boat excursions and banana moonshine. A huge celebration to commemorate such a special moment in our lives.
