On the weekend of Joann's 26th birthday, both Pasquale and Joann found themselves at The Kettle Black in Bay Ridge with their friends having a few drinks, where they were formally introduced to one another. It wasn't until two years later, that they found themselves at the same bar where they exchanged numbers, and the rest was history!

Pasquale and Joann had dinner plans with Pasquale's family that night, so when Joann got the call from her future MIL to go out for dinner, she was a little confused. Regardless of the confusion, Joann agreed to go to dinner with Pasquale's mom. Upon returning to Pasquale's house, she found herself walking into a path of rose petals and candles, and Pasquale on one knee. Joann ran to hug Pasquale, and to this day she still has yet to say "yes".
