The happy couple first crossed paths in summer 2016 when Joann took her campers to swim lessons at the pool where Harrison was a lifeguard. However, their first official meeting was when Joann and friends crashed a house party later that summer. A brief summer fling led to a friendship that blossomed to something more on "Drunksgiving" 2018 at their hometown dive bar. The rest is history! The pair has since made it through graduating from colleges in separate states, Joann moving to upstate NY for grad school while Harrison started teaching in western NH, the pandemic, living 90 minutes apart in the same state, and finally cohabiting against all odds! Joann and Harrison are so excited to celebrate their marriage with friends and family who have been around since before their meet cute, and ones they've met along the way!
