Travel Note
The downtown Santa Fe area is known for its rich history, art, and culture and it has retained its old-world charm with narrow streets and walkways designed primarily for foot traffic. Unfortunately, this also means parking is EXTREMELY difficult to find most of the time unless you are very lucky. We strongly encourage guests who are staying outside of the downtown area to carpool when possible, and to utilize the following: 1.) Cathedral of St Francis of Assisi parking lot located at 215 Cathedral Place-3 minute walk, $10 for parking. 2.) City of Santa Fe Water Street Municipal Lot, located at 100 E Water Street-7 minute walk, $4 for parking. 3.) Joseph M. Montoya Federal Building (Post Office), located at 120 S. Federal Place-11 minute walk, paid meter parking
