What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Black Tie Optional. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo, but can opt for a dark suit. Women can choose either a gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

Will there be parking at the church for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot with plenty of free parking at the church.

When should I arrive to the church?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure all guests are seated in time. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions and we will let the venue know.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the reception?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided from The DoubleTree by Hilton Poughkeepsie to The Grandview. We will have one coach bus making two trips to The Grandview. The first shuttle will depart the hotel promptly at 4:45pm. - Please note, if you are taking the first shuttle at 4:45pm, you will arrive to The Grandview prior to the cocktail hour start time. You are welcome to wait in the lobby of The Grandview, or head over to Shadows on the Hudson (a restaurant within the same building complex) for a quick bite and incredible views of The Hudson River. The second shuttle will depart the hotel promptly at 5:10pm. Transportation will also be provided back to the hotel after the reception.

Will there be parking at The Grandview for the reception?

Answer

Yes. If needed, our venue allows you to leave your vehicle overnight and retrieve it the next day. Please do not drink and drive.
