Joanna, Nalah as I like to call her, and I met in college. Joanna and I have kept in touch after 10+ years of meeting at Cal State Monterey Bay- GO OTTERS! Our relationship has grown so close that I consider her my little sister and I would do anything for her. When we talk it doesn't feel like it's been weeks or months. It feels like I just saw her last night. When we are together it's organic and comfortable. She empowers me to be who I am, to be kind to myself, grounds me and reminds me of where I came from. I'm thrilled to be her Maid of Honor and I am so happy for Joanna and JoJo. Congratulations! Here's to a lifetime of love and happiness!

Joanna is the long lost sister that my brother is finally giving me. I honestly canāt remember the first time I met Joanna because I feel like Iāve met her already. Sheās the perfect one for Jojo, his literal better half. Jojo would send me photos of Joanna since the first time they met so when I met Joanna in person it was as if I reunited with the sister Iāve never had.

Jojo was the first person who showed me around beautiful Island of Sicily when I transferred to my new Naval duty station in Sigonella, Sicily Italy. Best memories when Jojo was begging me to finish all you can eat sushi because he simply couldn't handle all the food he took ahahah.

My favorite memory I have with Jojo and Joanna is the day that Jojo proposed to her. I remember hiding in the bushes just so Joanna couldnāt see us and then running up to them as Jojo got down on one knee. It was such a special moment and day that Iāll never forget.

Her and I have so many favorite memories that I feel that I would be typing forever. From working out together to trips to Hawaii, Cabo, crazy last minute getaways in Las Vegas, nights we can't remember in San Francisco, and 5 am talks in San Jose. Hi my name is Brenda and I have known Joanna for 16 years. Joanna and I met when we started working together during high school. Right away we clicked and soon became close friends. We shared so many memories and fun times growing up. I love looking at our old pictures because not only are they hilarious but they remind me of how much fun we had together. My kids know her as Auntie Joanna and that is very special to me. We have remained friends through so many stages in life and I am excited to stand by my beautiful friend on her wedding day.

I first met Joanna when her and Jojo went o Santa Barbara with me to celebrate my 28th birthday. I have so many memories with her, but I think my favorite memory is when her and I would just be in house clothes doing absolutely nothing but watch documentaries. That was our thing for awhile ahaha. No make up, just relaxing and watching documentaries.
