It all started with Birmingham Magic City Classic weekend and the city was lit. At the time, Jo was a waitress at a popular nightclub downtown. Every night that she worked, the club had all the waitresses to draw numbers of which section they would be in charge of for the night. That particular evening Jo hand picked lucky #7 which was the biggest section of the night. Jo didn’t know at the time, but the section she had selected would introduce her so the man that would change her life forever. Jesse arrived to celebrate his 30th birthday at the night club with what seemed like over 60 guest. Jo introduced her self, and got to work with catering to him and his friends. By the end of the night all the guest were gone and it was time for clean up, Jesse sat there with his last bottle of champagne alone. Jo approached him asking if he had enjoyed his self. The two sat there smiling and making small talk with a spark in their eyes. After talking, laughing, and dancing to the clean up music, they realized that they’d lost track of time and Jo forgot she had work to do. Jesse offered to help so he cleared the tables , swept, and wiped down the section with Jo. It was finally time to say goodbye, they exchanged numbers and hugged goodbye. Through the years they always shared great times together. Even when Jesse was deployed and it seemed it wouldn’t happen. Things got rocky for a while, but the pair always seemed to make their way back to one another. Once they were back together, they have been inseparable. Loving life, enjoying each other’s company, being each other’s peace, and best friend. We are so grateful to share this moment with each and every one of you. Thank you all for being supportive of us. Now we flip the page to the next chapter of our lives.
