Question

Can we bring our own tent to camp?

Answer

Yes, when you purchase the overnight accommodations package you can also invite guests in your party to bring their own tent and camp outside.

Are campfires allowed?

Answer

All sites have access to fire pits. You are allowed to use these if there is not a county fire ban. All fires must be put out by midnight. We sell firewood if you need it.

Can I cook outside?

Answer

Yes. While primitive fires are not allowed, we do have several options including a Traeger Grill and larger Smoker attached to a trailer.

Are there noise restrictions?

Answer

Wild Roots is located pretty far aware from other homes in the area so noise is typically not a problem. We do ask that amplified music be brought to a reasonable level after 10pm.

How do I know if I’m sleeping on site?

Answer

If you were not told personally then there are no accommodations made for you, you’re more than welcome to message the bride or groom for clarification. You’re welcome to bring a tent and stay on site or there are hotels attached to our website near the venue. If you stay on site you are responsible for cleaning up your own area.

What is the parking like?

There is a open dirt parking lot that can fit up to 100 vehicles

Can you bring your kids?

Answer

Yes! Kids are welcome, the reception will include alcohol and adult music. There are no over night accommodations for children so if you’re planning on staying in the area please look into the hotels near by, some of them have been attached on my website for ease. If your kids can comfortably stay in a tent you’re welcome to do that as well, all children must have accompanying adult with them at night. We are not responsible for keeping track of children.

Unless otherwise discussed with the bride all plus ones must have their own overnight accommodations either in a tent on site or a hotel near by, wedding party individuals can stay wherever with S/O’s as long as you’re present for rehearsal and ceremony, reception is optional for all.

Will tents be provided?

Answer

No, if you want to stay on site you must bring your own equipment for whatever level of comfortability you want and you are responsible for said equipment and cleaning it on departure.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony itself is outdoors, the reception will be mainly indoor with an open side and able to freely move about.

What shoes are best for the venue?

Answer

The venue is 45 acres all guests have free roam to its entirety, the venue owners do live on site so be respectful of their space. The ceremony isn’t too far from the parking lot but it is a little bit of a walk. Heels are not recommended. There is ATV access to transport guests who need it.
