Answer

San Juan International Airport (SJU) or Mercedita Airport-Ponce (PSE) See under Travel for more information

Question

Are there any travel restrictions or visa requirements?

Answer

For U.S. Citizens: Identification: A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver's license) is required for domestic flights to Puerto Rico. Ensure your ID complies with the REAL ID Act to avoid potential issues at security checkpoints. For Non-U.S. Citizens: Passport: Required for entry into Puerto Rico. Visa: Depending on your nationality, a visa may be required. It's advisable to check with the U.S. embassy or consulate in your country for specific requirements.

Question

Is there a hotel block for the wedding?

Answer

We decided not to reserve a hotel block since most guests have opted for Airbnb or other accommodations. If you’re still looking for a place to stay, we recommend checking out Airbnb or popular booking sites like Booking.com or Expedia. There are plenty of great options nearby! For the hotel reservations call 787.821.0505 or email reservations@copamarina.com

Question

Is there self-parking?

Answer

Yes! When you arrive at the hotel, just let them know you're here for a wedding. Self-parking is available—enter the lot and park on the right-hand side. You’ll see the Copa gazebo nearby, which is where the festivities will be happening!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on the wedding invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of children invited.

Question

What is the dress code/guest attire for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask all our guests to wear black or dark attire/clothes for our wedding. Formal or semi-formal black outfits are perfect, think cocktail dresses, suits, or evening wear. We’re excited to create a chic and elegant atmosphere, and your stylish black looks will help set the tone!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, we ask that once the ceremony begins all phones are put away and silenced.

Question

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, but we would appreciate if all photos and videos are not shared until the day after the wedding.

Question

Do we really have to wear black?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to wear black! It’s not a strict requirement, but it's part of the aesthetic we’re hoping for — elegant, timeless, and cohesive. Black looks amazing in photos and helps create a beautiful, elevated atmosphere for the day. That said, we completely understand that some of you may have your own style preferences or comfort considerations. Please know you are welcome no matter what color you wear — your presence is what matters most.
