We're Getting Married!

We had known of each other for years, always passing by but never really connecting—until that one family party. That day, something just sparked between us. We talked, we laughed, and we haven’t stopped talking or laughing since. From that very first conversation, we both knew this was going to go very far, very fast—

It was right before Christmas, and we had planned to go ice skating downtown in Chicago… which didn’t happen, lol. Instead, we wandered around, enjoying the Christmas lights and a beautiful sunset. After dinner, David took me to a spot by a Christmas tree, got down on one knee, and promised he’d always stay by my side—then asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes! We laughed, hugged, and then went home to celebrate the rest of the night with our family and friends waiting for us.
