Question

Parking (You gotta be kidding me) UPDATED

Answer

"Got a '32 Ford, she's a 318, fuelie heads and a Hurst on the floor and she's waiting tonight down in the parking lot outside the 7-Eleven store" (Bruce Springsteen, Long Branch NJ) The Stone Pony hosts the Mayday Parade concert starting at 5 pm on the Summer Stage, making traffic and parking around the Watermark even harder. Give yourself extra time getting to the Watermark. Or, even if you're not staying at the hotel, consider parking at the Sheraton and taking the motor coach to the Watermark.

Question

How far are the hotels?

Answer

About 6 miles. Eatontown is a short drive to and from Asbury Park. We are providing motor coaches to transport guests Sunday between the hotels and the Watermark. If you want to get around without a car, you can take NJ Transit bus 832 to get to and from Asbury Park. https://content.njtransit.com/sites/default/files/bus_schedules/T0832.pdf

Question

What do I need to know about the beach?

Answer

Asbury Park is an historic beach resort that gets many summer visitors. While offering 128 miles of public beaches, NJ allows beach towns to charge for beach access. Called a beach badge, you can buy one online at https://www.apbeachpasses.com/ or in-person at Boardwalk & First Avenue.

Question

What else are you planning?

Answer

Although no definitive plans, as yet, for Friday, we would love to welcome those who arrive early; perhaps for drinks at one of the hotels or somewhere fun on the Boardwalk. For Saturday, how about skee ball at the Silverball Museum? For Sunday, you're own your own until 4pm, when we will see you at the Watermark! Look for updates here.

Question

Foodies ask: Where to eat?

Answer

No shortage of fabulous restaurants in or near Asbury Park, ranging from quick bites to fine dining. Asbury Park: Cardinal Provisions, Buttermee Pancakes, Cameo Love Market, Pascal & Sabine, Pasta Volo, and Cookman's Creamery | Ocean Grove: The Starving Artist | Long Branch: Rooney's Oceanfront
