Part of the Saugatuck charm is its small town living and homey places to stay. The best spots are bed & breakfasts, inns, motels, and house rentals. There are lots of options, so we curated our tops for you to decide what format is your favorite. Smaller properties also mean they book up faster, so we recommend securing your place 7-10 months out (July-Oct). Our weekend coincides with a big festival in Holland, MI called Tulip Time, so many local places will book early.

If you're flying in, the two best airport options are Grand Rapids & Detroit. GERALD R. FORD INT'L AIRPORT (GRR) Caters to most major airlines (Delta, Southwest, American, United). More likely to require a connecting flight depending on where you're flying from. Saugatuck is a 40 - 50 minute drive. DETROIT METROPOLITAN AIRPORT (DTW) Best for international or major direct flights across all airlines. Saugatuck is a 2.5 - 3 hour drive.
