Please arrive at the Navy Academy chapel by 2:30pm. The chapel doors will close at 2:45pm and will not open until after the ceremony has started.
Shuttles will pick up guests from the Graduate Hotel at 2:15pm en route to the Naval Academy Chapel. Please bring your IDs for USNA access even if you are taking the shuttle! Following the ceremony, shuttles will transport guests to the reception venue (10-15 minute drive) ** note: a stop will also be made at the Graduate Hotel (before heading to the reception) for those who prefer to drive themselves to the reception. Reception venue has 120 parking spots. Shuttles will pick up guests from the reception at 8:30 and 10pm.
Only those with a military CAC or a special permit for disability parking will be able to drive onto the Naval Academy campus. If you need driving accommodations or a disability permit, please reach out to JoAnna and Tyler in advance! All are welcome to walk on campus to the chapel, but must have a form of ID when entering the Naval Academy campus.
Enter through the USNA Visitor Center at Gate 1 (off King George Street). Please bring a photo ID (driver's license, passport, CAC, etc.) to get onto campus. Once on campus, follow signs for the chapel, be on the look out for a giant copper dome.
Garden Attire: sundresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, fun hats and fascinators. The reception venue is outdoors along Maryland's beautiful Chesapeake Bay! There is a sandy area, a grassy area, and a tent covered deck; we suggest wearing shoes you don't mind mixing with the elements!
