This small Japanese grocery store with an eat-in counter is one of our favorite places for a casual lunch and some authentic Japanese snacks.

Freedom Playground
For all our families with littles, this is (in our humble opinion) the best playground in our area. Includes a tot lot area, hiking trails, a covered picnic area with bathrooms, and lots of swings, slides, and climbing!
Please Touch Museum
Philly's coolest children's museum, recommended for kids six months old through age 8. If you're thinking about going, please let us know! We can get free passes for 2 adults and up to 4 kids through our library.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
Fun fact: Gavi proposed to Jo on the back steps. If you're getting into Philly early and looking for an activity, they host local DJs and have pay-what-you-wish admission on Friday nights from 5 to 8:30 PM.
Haverford College Nature Trail
We walk Tillie here every day, so that's a real photo of us on the trail! Covering the perimeter of the Haverford College campus, it is the perfect 2.2 mile loop. Open dawn to dusk. The link below will take you to the trail entrance and parking lot.
