The Mexico City airport is a two-hour bus/car ride from downtown Puebla! Even though there is a direct flight Houston-Puebla, the Mexico City airport has more options and flights. El aeropuerto de CMDX esta a dos horas del centro de Puebla en camion/coche. Aunque hay vuelos directos de Houston a Puebla, el aeropuerto de CDMX tiene muchas mas opciones de vuelos.
Travel Note
The bus station with services to Puebla called Estrella Roja is located inside the Mexico City airport at Terminal 1. Located on the second floor of the airport near the food court. Please buy tickets from the airport to Paseo Destino. The buses are spacious and very safe! Average ticket price $35USD. After you arrive at the Paseo Destino bus terminal, the easiest way to get to the hotels is by Uber. Uber in Puebla is highly reliable and affordable. La estación de autobuses con servicios a Puebla llamada Estrella Roja se encuentra dentro del aeropuerto de Ciudad de México, en la Terminal 1. Se encuentra en EL segundo piso, cerca del food court. Compren los boletos desde el aeropuerto hasta Paseo Destino. Los camiones son amplios y muy seguros! Precio aproximado de boleto $35USD. The Puebla Airport only has one flight from the US (Houston-Puebla) and a few national flights, including Monterrey and Torreon. The airport is 45 minutes from downtown Puebla.
