In September of 2020 with travel plans thwarted, Joan decided to take the advice of a friend and try a dating app while stuck in small town, Montana. That choice would not disappoint. We met on a dating site and there was an immediate connection! We planned our first date and were instructed to keep it local. Jeremy planned a site seeing trip around Flathead Lake with food and drink stops along the way. We capped off the evening with dinner and more conversation growing more and more drawn to one another. Needless to say, a second date was quickly planned and the rest, as they say, is history.

Jeremy set up a date hike for us and a chance to enjoy the great outdoors. We took pictures here and there and at one spot, Jeremy set up a tripod and was fumbling through his pocket for what I thought was the remote for the camera. Instead, he got down on one knee with the sweetest words "will you marry me" and with great joy, I said "yes!" We are so excited you all can join us as we begin the next stage of our lives together!
