Question

How do I get to the church?

Answer

There are three entrances: - one driving west-bound on Charleston immediately after Jones - two driving north-bound on Jones before Charleston The church is tucked away behind the parking lot of Asher College. There is NO access from Red Rock St or Del Rey Ave. You can either park in the Asher College covered parking or within the gates of the church.

Question

Do I have to get to the Welcome Event at exactly 4pm?

Answer

Nope! The Welcome Event is a casual event. Come when you're able. We'll probably do speeches around 7 or 8.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Once you have entered your name into the RSVP portal, the website will indicate if you have a plus one or not, and will prompt you for your guest's name and dinner selection.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There are two and half hours of buffer time between the end of the ceremony and the start of the cocktail hour. We understand that you may use this time to go home, rest, hit the casino, or drop off the kids. The ceremony should end around 4:00PM, the drive time to the reception is about 30 minutes, and the cocktail hour starts at 6:30PM. We will have snacks and drinks available at the church hall until 5:30PM, should you like to stay around, chat, take photos, etc. You are welcome to arrive at the Country Club at 6:00PM to hang around the lobby until the cocktail hour officially starts.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

General wedding attire is expected, think cocktail attire, or semi-formal. Wear any color you'd like, besides a white dress. The ceremony is indoors, and the reception will be outdoors on a terrace (you will be safe in your high heels). Average temperatures in Las Vegas for May: High: 88°F / Low: 66°F

Question

Do I have to attend all of the events?

Answer

No! It is not necessary to attend all of the events offered, we are counting on you to be there for the wedding day! The RSVP selection page allows you to communicate what you plan on attending, so please update this if anything changes :) The Friday and Sunday events are totally optional and just a way for us to get to spend as much time as possible with our friends and family--particularly those who have travelled from out of town.

Question

How will transportation and parking work?

Answer

There will not be any organized transportation between the church and the reception, so please coordinate travel ahead of time. Both venues have plentiful parking. Should you need to find another way home, the Las Vegas Country Club will allow vehicles to be parked overnight in their gated lot. You will be able to retrieve your vehicle when they open in the morning at 6:00AM.

Answer

Sure! Just please don't interfere with the photographers. If you post to Instagram use the hashtag #gettinghentsched
