Maid of Honor

Taylor and I met when we were assigned to teach the Pre-K and Kindergarten Sunday School class at our church together. It wasn’t until a few months later that we decided to meet for brunch and get to know each other outside of that class. We ended up talking for 4 hours that day as we realized we had so many similar interests and goals for our lives! She has been a true sister and partner in prayer and ministry for the past several years. Taylor is one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met. She has been a source of encouragement, inspiration, and many hilarious puns. My life is so much more fun and meaningful because she is in it.

Erin Chew

Maid of Honor

Erin and I met during our first year of medical school. We decided one day to meet up to make pancakes for breakfast together, and during the conversation that followed, we became instant friends. I would not have gotten through the tough times of med school without Erin. We have shared many memories, laughs, and tears over the past few years. Erin is so patient and always lends her listening ear to my crazy ideas. She has been a constant source of wisdom, understanding, and encouragement. She has been a true friend at times when I needed one most, and I am so grateful to the Lord for allowing me to know her.

Reem Ghaddar

Reem and I grew up together as next-door neighbors in Harlingen, TX. She is one of the most energetic and magnetic people I have ever met. From our childhood days, when we would go to each other’s houses to paint nails, Reem has been a constant friend who knows and understands me better than almost anyone else. Her friendship has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I’m so thankful to the Lord that He has allowed us to maintain our friendship for so many years.

Karima Khimani

Karima and I met on our first day of med school orientation, where we were assigned to be each other’s “high-five buddy” in a game designed to meet our new classmates. Over the next 4 years, we grew from being high-five buddies to dear friends. Karima is one of the most kind, humble, and hard-working people I have ever met. She and I became instant friends in our first year of med school when we found a shared love for chocolate-covered waffles and philosophical conversations. Over the past few years, Karima and I have shared many memories together. She is incredibly understanding, patient, thoughtful, and so much fun. I’m so grateful to have a friend like her and to have her be my bridesmaid on our wedding day!

Suchi Marneni

Bridesmaid

Suchi and I met when she and her sister, Susmi, first moved to Houston for dental school. Little did I know when our moms introduced us to each other that she would become one of my closest friends. Suchi is wise beyond her years and is one of the first people I turn to for advice. She has a passion to serve the Lord and honor Him with her life that is so inspiring. She is also an amazing dancer and will surely be seen on the dance floor during our reception! Suchi has been with me through every celebration and every tough season over the past several years. I’m so honored to have her stand beside me, and I’m so thankful that I can call her my sister and friend.

Susmi Marneni

Susmi and I met when she and her sister, Suchi, first moved to Houston for dental school. I didn’t know what it was like to have a sister until I met Susmi. She is extremely generous and selfless, and she always goes out of her way to help others. Her heart for serving others has been an inspiration to me ever since I met her. From hip-hop dance classes, to Bible study, to birthday celebrations, to long days studying, I’m so glad I have been able to experience the joys and stresses of these past few years with Susmi as my friend. I’m so excited that she will be my bridesmaid for our wedding day!

Jemimah Nayar

Jemimah is my lovely cousin and my first friend. We grew up on opposite ends of the world, but we have always maintained a close friendship despite the distance. Whenever my family visits India, Jemimah and I always end up talking and catching up late into the night. She is one of my most trusted friends, closest confidantes, and faithful prayer partners. I’m so excited to have Jemimah come all the way from India to stand by me as a bridesmaid for our wedding day!

Angela has been my closest friend throughout college and med school! We have had the opportunity to grow together and experience each step of our lives together for the past 9 years, and she knows me better than almost anyone. Angela is always passionate and excited about everything she does. She has been a constant and forgiving friend and one of the sweetest blessings in my life.

Katharine Yang

Katharine and I became friends during our first year of medical school when we realized we were both procrastinators and night owls. We spent several days studying late into the night for our med school exams and became very close friends during that time. Katharine is one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. She is thoughtful and caring and has a heart of compassion for everyone around her. She is an amazing dancer and always up for an adventure! Katharine has made these difficult years of med school so much fun and meaningful. Her friendship has been such a sweet blessing from God and a true joy in my life, and I’m honored to have her be my bridesmaid!
