Our story began on the evening of January 4th, 2017, at a party where fate decided to play its part. While everyone else was lost in the music and dancing, Jean and I found ourselves sitting next to each other, sharing a quiet moment amidst the excitement. With a playful spirit, I asked him if he wanted to dance, and to my delight, he said yes. That night, we danced together, lost in conversation and laughter, until it was time for me to head home. As I arrived home, a thoughtful text from Jean popped up on my phone. He wanted to make sure I had gotten home safely and wished me a good night. That small gesture marked the beginning of something special. The next morning, we spent the entire day on the phone, talking endlessly and getting to know each other better. It was as if we had known each other forever, even though we weren't actively looking for love at the time. It just happened naturally. Since that fateful night, we've been inseparable, growing together and cherishing every moment. Our journey has been filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures, and we can't wait to see what the future holds. It was January 14th, and my bestie Ada invited me out to eat. We had an amazing time, chatting and laughing the whole evening. After dinner, she said she needed to stop by a friend’s place before dropping me off. She told me to hop out of the car for a second, saying she'd be back in just a minute. I had no clue what was going on, so I stepped out of the car, and off she went. As I stood there waiting for her, I looked around and noticed candles and flowers... and someone standing there. In my mind, I thought, "Oh, someone’s getting engaged tonight!" I even pulled out my phone, like, "Alright, let’s see this proposal happen." Then, for some strange reason, I felt this urge to turn my head again, and that’s when it hit me. It was Jean standing there! I froze for a second, then shouted, “Jean, what are you doing?!” As I walked toward him, he grabbed my hands, dropped to one knee, and before he could even finish what he had to say, I interrupted him with a big, “YES!” No hesitation, just pure excitement and joy. And that’s how my forever began, with a surprise, a lot of laughs, and an unforgettable moment I’ll cherish forever.
