Once upon a Sunday morn at the cherished Plum Grove Baptist Church, two hearts found themselves most curiously drawn to one another. Raven espied Joah and thought him exceedingly handsome, whilst Joah, in kind, felt the same spark of intrigue. Not long after, in the year 2023, they embarked upon their very first date at the jovial halls of Bowlero. Thus began a merry string of adventures across the fair town of Tuscaloosa—romantic evenings at Roll Call, convivial laughter at Sessions, friendly competition at Mini Golf, and many more delightful escapades. In May of the year 2024, Raven proudly received her Master’s in Advertising and Public Relations from The University of Alabama. Though fate briefly parted their ways, their hearts remained entwined, and their correspondence never faltered. On a quiet afternoon of January the 22nd, 2025, Joah reached out to Raven with a heartfelt message—a humble Instagram reel declaring that his feelings endured, and that he missed her dearly. Soon thereafter, their courtship resumed in earnest, blossoming into exclusive devotion. By March the 16th, 2025, they had made their love official. Though Raven sojourned in Atlanta, Joah’s thoughtful visits and shared moments ensured their bond endured the miles. Time and destiny guided them, and their long-distance chapter concluded when Raven accepted a wondrous new post in Tuscaloosa, a path that promised to change the world forever. In a moment of joy and devotion on November the 8th, 2025, Joah humbly requested Raven’s hand in marriage, and she, with gladness of heart, consented.
