This beautiful inn is a hidden gem! It is located right across the street from the Bellevue property - where we will be staying. It sits at the top of the hill behind the Spring House Hotel. With amazing views, we found it to be even better than Spring House -- quieter, cleaner, classy, with an amazing restaurant, grand old bar, and beautiful porch, grounds, and Adirondack chairs. Perfect for a romantic get-away. They rent out 1 cottage home and apartments in back as well. We spoke to Logan - who was lovely! - and the owner, Brad.

Champlin's Hotel, Marina and Resort

This marina is on the opposite side of the island as the ferry. It is a good walk or you can always catch a taxi. We fell in love with the new BI Oyster Bar that is on the property and have frequented Trader's for mudslides at the end of the pier for years. The office staff is working on a room block for us and said any promo codes would be retroactively applied. This will be near the boating action and is a healthy walk or quick cab ride to Bellevue & Atlantic Inn on top of the hill.

For those who prefer an earlier or later departure than what the ferry companies offer, or perhaps just prefer the shorter time spent traveling, New England Airlines, Westerly, Rhode Island, provides regular commuter service to Block Island. Just over the Rhode Island/Connecticut state line, this airline offers a 15 minute trip over the blue waters of the Block Island Sound to the serenity of the green, rolling hills of this beautiful island.
