We don’t have a typical love story but it’s our love story. We had been working together for years and didn’t even know each others names. Jack moved departments and then that’s when we started to work together. There was flirting and we never thought of it as anything more. Laura and Jack started to hang out together and talk almost everyday. After dating for a little while, on May 4, 2016 Jack asked Laura to be his girlfriend.

Laura hoped that one day the love of her life would get her father’s permission and ask her to marry her and the day had finally come ! The day Jack asked and Laura said yes. Jack and Laura we’re going to Laura’s Godfathers house for an Easter celebration. Jack was pretending to be sick all morning and Laura was just brushing him off because well, he was being annoying. It all made sense when Jack seemed like he was nervous. Laura was going out to do an Easter egg hunt with their niece Isabella and that’s where the proposal would happen. Jack called Laura’s name to have her turn around and there was Jack on his knee in front of her whole family asking her to marry him. Frank, Laura’s brother had champagne and glasses all ready to celebrate the engagement.
