Jonathan & David met online in LA in October, late night in 2017. J is a night owl (and was FUN-employed), D was Jetlagged. Dinner was their first date on Halloween at Angelini. J was early, duh!, & was talking on the phone to Lisa when D arrived (on time!). They disagree on how long the call lasted but were soon seated & agreeing on their first beverage – Rosé, shocker! Then they set out to share everything they ordered and continue the conversation. When D asked “What do you do?” that could have been the end. J was on a break between jobs, & the jobs he was most likely to take were NOT in LA. Nonetheless, they continued exploring the connection. Their second date was one for the books – 4 days long! They dined all over LA & spa’d at Four Seasons. J even told their server at dinner his excitement for meeting D - she didn't care & offered wine. J chose to take the job in SF & they chose to give it a go. They saw each other most every weekend & quickly became very close, sure of their connection & bond. In June, J gets the call asking him to relocate to Dallas for work. Luckily these two already had plans of trying to live together. Again they made it work! They finally got the chance to live together in Dallas, found THE dream home, and sold the homes in CA. East came D & Dulce, the cat, to start life in TX. On closing day, J proposed at Cartier. A good story, ask! Cabo is the first place they went together - NYE 2017. On that trip they knew how compatible they were. J was willing to move his chair 5 times a day for D to the sun & both were excited to plan the next trip to Asia before the one the current one had ended! They've always shared a deep love for travel and food. Whether its Asia, South America, Europe – they love to see the world! Some delays bring us to a later time, yet one no less meaningful. How exciting to share this with family & friends. Thank you for sharing this moment! P.S. “&” is not used correctly, we know.
