We recommend arriving at least 2 days early (Tuesday, August 4) to account for possible travel delays, adjust to the time change, and give yourself plenty of time to settle into the resort before the festivities begin. While Majestic Elegance has a 4-night minimum booking, Maggie and James will be staying from August 3rd to 9th. Adjust your travel dates to what best suits you, just keep in mind the date of the wedding.
We partnered with Paradise Weddings, a travel agency, for rooming assistance. We have reserved a room block on the 18+ Adult-Side as well as the Family-Side of the resort. You can find the link to book your stay on the "Travel" tab of this webpage. Staying at the wedding resort is highly encouraged for convenience and fun! Staying off the premises will incur charges in order to access a day pass. 90% of our wedding guests are required to stay at the resort, so please reach out to us if you are considering otherwise.
Yes! Everyone will need a valid passport to enter Mexico. Make sure yours is up to date and not expiring within 6 months of travel.
Roundtrip transportation is available for all wedding guests through the room reservation website. Paradise Weddings has connected us with one of their trusted vendors for a price of $85 per person. If you choose this travel option, you will either receive a private car or you may be in a shared shuttle with other wedding guests. Booking airport transfer through Paradise Weddings is optional.
We have reserved an assortment of 40 rooms at a discounted rate for our guests; they are subject to availability on a first come, first serve basis. If we fill up all 40 rooms, we will request more rooms for our guests; rates are subject to change. There is a deposit of $150USD to reserve a room (*per room, not per person*). We suggest you reserve your room as soon as possible. On March 6th, 50% of your room fee is due and refunds can no longer be given. We will begin to reach out to all guests by February to confirm attendance. In the event you need to cancel your reservation, contact Paradise Weddings.
Magestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is a single resort with two separate sections: Adults-Only Section (Elegance Club) • Exclusively for guests 18+ years of age • Offers private pools, exclusive bars and lounges (access to premium liquor options) • Great for couples or adults who prefer a more peaceful, upscale experience • Access to all family-friendly areas as well • Accompanying butler and 24-hour room service Family-Friendly Section • Open to guests of all ages, including children and teens • Perfect for families or guests traveling with kids • Access to shared restaurants, beach, and pools (but not Adult-Only zones) • Daily 6:00am-12:00am room service
• If you're traveling without children and want a more tranquil, Adults-Only vibe with no restrictions, the Elegance Club (18+) is for you. • If you're bringing kids or are Lolas/Lolos who like to stay close to your grandkids, the Family-friendly side is your best option.
We understand that for an all-inclusive resort, you may want to travel with a guest. We just ask that you reach out to us directly to confirm any plus ones due to limited seating at our wedding venue.
