Megan: Back in January 2014, I was attending Gavilan college and decided to audition for the Spring Shakespeare show: Much Ado About Nothing. I was thrilled when I got cast as Heroé, one of the young romantic leads. I remember being excited and nervous for our first table read, wondering who "my Claudio" was going to be. We went around the table and introduced ourselves, and I remember looking over at this boy with dark, curly hair, introducing himself as "John M. Sanchez," and thinking, "Oh, he's cute..." After five months of blushing, curtsying, and giggling at each other, I was thrilled when he finally asked me out. JM: I ended up asking Megan out at the end of my 20th birthday party. It was a last second decision, but I knew I couldn't end the night without asking her. I ran out the front door and caught up with her and our two friends getting in the car and after a second of catching my breath I mustered up the courage to say something along the lines of, " Hey, uh. . . Will you go out with me? On a date?" And she thankfully said yes. Six years later and I wouldn't change a thing.
