So there she was, Mozart score on the table, headphones in, working on memorization for an upcoming gig...In walks this tall, dark, and handsome guy looking around for who he is supposed to be meeting for their first date. She already has her coffee and bagel, so he goes to the counter and gets himself a coffee and a muffin, then returns. For literal years at this point, Jordan was convinced that James couldn't plan his way out of a paper bag. Unbeknownst to her, James is actually a master planner; the only problem, this power can only be used if someone involved gets hurt. And James had to prove this to her... September 2021, James seeded the idea for our lovebirds to take a tourist's vacation to Washington DC. Thus began Phase 1 of his master plan: the weeks leading up to their trip he led on that many surprises were to be had, and conveniently left a white ring box out in the open. None of that mattered to James, partly because he'd been hiding all the things Jordan needed, but mainly because he wanted to see the memorials at sunset. He rushed Jordan out the door, her hair still wet, with barely enough time to put on her shoes. Arriving at the memorials, Jordan noticed that Josh, one of the now-groomsmen, was in front of the WW2 Memorial. This was perturbing, just 10 minutes ago he had told James they wouldn't be able to see each other on this trip. Phase 3 was beginning to culminate... They approach Josh, James uncharacteristically chipper. Josh said he was working on some camera equipment, and asked if our proposed-to-be could help with his audio levels...
