12 South is a popular spot to eat, shop, or just walk around! There are lots of restaurants like Edley's BBQ, Bar Taco and Burger Up. There are cute shops to pop into like Draper James, Stoney Clover, and Molly's favorite- White's Mercantile.
The Gulch is another neighborhood that's easy to get to from any part of Nashville, especially downtown. This area of town has shopping and yummy places to eat (check out Milk & Honey). One of our favorite spots to see a view of the city in this neighborhood is LA Jackson, a rooftop bar in the Thompson Hotel.
Fifth + Broadway is a shopping area and local food court right above Broadway. Not sure where to grab a bite? This spot has multiple sit down restaurants, as well as a food court with lots of options that are local to Nashville. On the main level, there are tons of boutiques and shops.
The Listening Room is a fun spot to catch some local songwriters perform their own, original work! A fun experience and a Nashville must. You need tickets, so check the website and purchase them ahead of time.
We love Cheekwood! Around the holidays, they have Holiday Lights that are a fun experience if you have the time. Plus, you can purchase tickets to tour the house or garden if you don't have time for the lights. Check the website for other happenings and tickets.
The Frist Art Museum is a beautiful museum that is constantly changing up its exhibitions. It is right downtown and would be a nice spot to check out!
Also known as "The Mother Church," the Ryman Auditorium is the original Grande Ole Opry. It's a beautiful old church turned music venue. Their self-guided tour is super interesting and has lots of fun facts about Nashville and some of your favorite music artists!
