Jordan and Michael met when they were both students in the youth group at ABT. Jordan had a crush on Michael for YEARS and always joked around about wanting to marry him one day. There's even an Instagram post from Jordan's graduation party (also their first picture together!) with the caption that said, "Mikey! We might get married one day". Little did they know that 8 years later they'd be walking down the aisle and starting this next grand adventure together. Jordan and Michael were best friends for 4 years before they decided that they wanted to take a chance on love and see where God would lead them. They started dating on October 24, 2017, and the rest is history! They're both passionate about pursuing God's plan for their lives, as they serve together with both youth and young adults at Connect Church and believe that God will continue to use their love and commitment to His Church throughout their marriage and beyond.

On May 25, 2021, while on vacation with Michael's family in the Outer Banks, Michael knew he wanted to propose at the top of Jockey's Ridge. They planned to hike the dunes and take some beautiful pictures of the view, little did Jordan know, Michael had more plans for this day. As they approached the top of a dune with a breathtaking view, Jordan noticed while taking pictures.. everyone was behind her. She turned around and saw Michael down on one knee. He told her that she was his best friend, and he wanted to spend the rest of their life together. And of course, Jordan said yes! Michael knows how big of a Harry Potter fan that Jordan is, so he even got a ring box that said, "After all this time, always". Which was just another sentimental touch to an amazing day.
