Question

Do we have to stay at the resort?

Answer

Short answer.. yes. The resort offers a very limited amount of day passes for non resort members; however, these are not guaranteed and based on the hotel capacity for that given day.

When should I book my room?

Answer

ASAP! The room reservations are based on availability, so we highly recommend booking as soon as possible! Despite being over a year away, some rooms have already began to sell out. Our promo code will expire 65 days before the wedding date. Reminder that you are only charged $1 to reserve your room with full payment due 30 days prior to booking dates. Booking are 100% refundable if canceled within 48 hours before your arrival date. Your credit card will be charged 30 days before the date. **IMPORTANT NOTE - make sure that the credit card you book with is still valid when it comes time to charge it (30 days before event) otherwise you will lose your reservation and will no longer be able to book with the discounted promo code.

How do I book my room?

Answer

Once on the website www.finestresorts.com - there will be a place to enter the promo code when checking room availability for your dates. CODE: JKWAPR24FPMCAN Choose the room you would like and and it will prompt you to answer a few questions before charging you $1 for your reservation. If you have not booked your flights yet, leave the flight times blank. You should receive a booking confirmation number once you have completed your booking. Keep this number as it will be needed for airport shuttle services. A breakdown of the different suites: NON CLUB SUITES ex: Junior swim up suite, junior suite pool view, ect. : base level and family friendly. Access to most restaurants and lounges. NO access to Domo or Seaside restaurant. NO access to Club level beach. FINEST CLUB SUITES ex: Finest Club junior swim up suite, Finest club junior suite with pool view ect. : Family friendly. Access to Club level beach. Adults (18+) will have access to additional amenities including Domo & Seaside restaurant. EXCELLENCE CLUB SUITES ex: Excellence Club junior swim up suite, Excellence Club Junior suite with pool view ect. : This is the "adults only" version of the finest club. Guests will have access to additional amenities such as Domo and seaside restaurant and Club level beach.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! You need a passport to travel to Mexico. You will need this to board your flight and the resort will ask for it when you check in. If you need to get a passport, please apply for one ASAP so it arrives in time for the trip. ** REMINDER - your passport must be valid until 6 months AFTER your return date; therefore, please ensure passports are valid until at least October 24, 2024.

Does the resort have a dress code?

Answer

The resort strongly enforces it's three basic “levels” of dress code at the bars, lounges, or restaurants: Casual Elegance, Casual and Beach/Pool/Relaxed Casual Elegance dress is somewhere between casual and formal. Gentlemen should wear long pants, collared shirt or polo, and ladies should wear long pants, Capri pants, skirts, dresses and blouses. Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn at all times. This dress code applies to some restaurants for dinner. *T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, and flip-flops are not permitted. Casual dress is more relaxed, but still not beachwear. In restaurants where casual dress is requested, the following clothing is permitted: informal shorts, Bermudas, cover ups and t-shirts. Footwear of some kind should be worn at all times. The casual dress code applies to all restaurants for breakfast and lunch and most dinner restuarants. Beach/Pool/Relaxed Attire applies to pool bars, swim-up bars, and tiki lounges. In these instances, you can walk or swim up in your swimsuit, which can be wet. You can also wear flip-flops or no shoes – pure vacation!

What is included in my stay?

Just about everything! FOOD: All meals, snacks and beverages [including alcohol]! There are 12 restaurants, 1 Coffee/Dessert Bar, 15 Bars/lounges and 24 hour Room Service! ACTIVITIES: Shows, Live Music, Gym, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and Dance Classes are just a glimpse of what is included in your stay. Please Note: Spa treatments and motorized water sports (jet skis and boating) are not included. There is a 10% discount on Spa treatments!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Short Answer... No. While we love your little ones, our wedding DAY is going to be an adults-only event (they are still welcome to join you at the resort for all other days!) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. There are babysitting services on site at the resort, and some other guests have opted to bring a grandparent or friend with them for this vacation to help with the kids! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us <3 *Does not apply to breastfeeding babes that still need their momma!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

All solo attendees are welcome to bring one guest with them. We want you to enjoy our wedding as well as your vacation! If you choose to bring someone, please make sure to let us know the name of your guest when you RSVP.

Do I need to bring cash?

Answer

Gratuities are included in your all-inclusive rate. However, we recommend bringing cash for extra tips and other activities you may want to do. We recommend bringing a bunch of smaller bills (USD or pesos).

What if I cannot attend?

Answer

We completely understand! Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty as you must make the best decision for you. You will be met with total understanding and love from both of us!

Please note that gifts are NOT expected! Your presence at our wedding is already the most generous gift <3
