What started as a simple connection on Instagram (still to this day it is a point of contention who messaged first) quickly turned into conversations that neither could ignore. After just two months of getting to know each other, life took them in different directions—Jason moved back to Princeton, New Jersey, while Kayla stayed in Berkeley, California. Throughout the next two years, despite the miles between them, their bond only grew stronger. Long phone calls that stretched late into the night, visits that made every goodbye worth it, and unwavering support turned the distance into a bridge that deepened their commitment and brought their hearts even closer together. In January 2025, Jason popped the question in Kayla’s favorite place—Palm Springs—making their promise of forever official. That summer, Jason and Kayla took their next big leap and now finally share the same address—ready to turn everyday moments into memories, side by side.
