Hello, Friends and Family!

We got together as a part of a giant conspiracy (which is perfect since conspiracy is Kyra's middle name). Many of our friends had been telling us about each other leading up to the wedding of our dear friends Josh and Kendra. At that wedding... we still didn't meet each other. But after we exchanged numbers through our friends (who were all too happy to oblige) and began getting to know each other over the phone. It was friendship at first call and soon we were planning to meet up in person. We first met up in Village Park Kannapolis in front of the Carousel and have never been the same since.

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went back to the park to "celebrate our one-year." Little did Kyra know just how Jacob wanted to celebrate... with a ring. After a trip down memory lane in the park where Jacob had set up pictures of our relationship all along the path, we came to a picnic in front of the carousel in Village Park. Jacob proposed with a poem he'd written and then continued with the charade saying they had to get to a dinner reservation in Charlotte. That is where all of our friends and family were waiting with a surprise party! It was truly a wonderful time of joy and celebration! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you. See you in February!
