What matters most to us is having our families and closest friends together in one place. With loved ones traveling from up and down the East Coast (and beyond), we chose a destination-style celebration where everyone can relax, enjoy the Fourth of July holiday, and celebrate our marriage. Linekin Bay Resort has it all (just for us, all weekend!): a heated pool, kayaks, paddle boards, sailing, various sport courts, and an on-site restaurant. We’ve made so many wonderful memories in New England, and we can’t wait to share one of our favorite places with you!
RSVP to our formal invitations (arriving ~February). Following receipt of your RSVP, Jack and Kate will assign rooms in partnership with LBR. Next, LBR will email you a link to make your 50% deposit 60 days before our wedding. Please do not try to book your room online nor call the venue – rest assured the entire resort is blocked off for our wedding weekend! We encourage everyone to stay the full 2 nights at LBR. Should you be arriving early, departing late, or shortening your stay, please specify those details in your RSVP or reach out directly to Jack and Kate.
While not required, we encourage all of our guests to plan on staying at LBR from Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5 to attend all of our festivities. There are a few other inns and AirBnB options in the area.
Our wedding attire is coastal cocktail -- think cocktail attire with a more relaxed, summery twist. Flowy dresses, light fabric suits, and playful patterns are all welcome. Ties are optional, and comfort is encouraged. For our heel wearers, please note the ceremony will take place on grass. Our welcome party is casual - wear what makes you comfortable. Weather Note: On July 4, the temperature in Boothbay Harbor typically ranges from 58°F to 72°F, and is rarely below 52°F or above 82°F. While dinner and dancing will take place indoors, we recommend a shall or extra layer for the evening hours.
Rates range from $350-$700 per night. Many cabins have multiple bedrooms and enable additional cost-sharing options per person; private suites and individual cabins are more expensive per person. If you have lodging preferences, please let us know in your RSVP or reach out to one of us directly. We'll do our absolute best to accommodate!
